Serves 4
- 1 Italian Loaf of Bread
- 2 lbs. Thinly Sliced Steak
- 2 Cups Thinly Slice (Julienned) Red Pepper
- 2 Cups Julienned Green Pepper
- 2 Cups Julienned Red Onion
- 1 Cup Grated Dairy Isle Aged Cheddar
- 1 Cup Grated Dairy Isle Marble Cheddar
- 1 Cup Grated Dairy Isle Mozzarella
- 2 Tbsp Montreal Steak Spice
- ¼ Cup Honey Mustard
- ¼ Cup Olive Oil
- 2 Cloves of Crushed Garlic
Method:
- Pre heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a bowl, toss the steak, olive oil, garlic and spice and mix thoroughly.
- Add the peppers and onions to the bowl and continue to mix until combined.
- Place the mixture from the bowl on a sheet pan and spread evenly.
- Place the sheet pan in the pre heated oven for 15-20 minutes until nicely roasted.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle all of the Dairy Isle cheese evenly over the sheet pan mixture.
- Place the sheet pan back in the oven until the cheese is fully melted.
- Slice the bread lengthwise and spread with the honey mustard.
- Take the cheesesteak mixture and pile it onto the loaf of bread.
- Fold the sandwich and cut into four. Serve with your favorite side dish.
