Now in grocery stores – Dairy Isle unsalted butter. We were honoured to add unsalted butter to our Dairy Isle offering in 2021, starting with Superstores and Dominions in Atlantic Canada in November, and quickly followed by Your Independent Grocer stores and then Sobeys in December.
Unsalted butter serves two consumers – the home baker who prefers to add salt to their recipes separate from the salt contained in butter, and those who are consciously controlling their salt intake as part of a dietary control of hypertension (high blood pressure).
Dairy Isle unsalted butter sells for the same price as our regular salted butter and looks amazing on the shelf beside our current products. This product is another example of how fresh milk from PEI farms creates a finished product with no comparison.
